One fall in the late sixties, the JanSport team heard that students were using the brand’s small cross country daypacks to cross campus instead. Perfect match!
It’s really a perfect bag for students. My friends and I bought 3 of it. You can carry your notebook with you because the bag has a cushion in the bottom of the bag, and you may also carry as many books as you wan. Great choice!

Great Quality and easy to use LIFETIME warranty!!!

I decided to review some things I didn’t buy off Amazon, but I have owned for sometime that are really great items: the kind I would buy again for sure if they were lost. I would say lost or broken, but Jansport has lifetime warranties! If anything happens to your backpack, all you have to do is mail it to Jansport with a note of the problem, they will fix it for FREE and send it back to you. They will even send you a card while they have it telling you it misses you and will be back soon. Overall, these are such great products, you just have to get a Jansport if you’re thinking of a backpack.

Also, I am in a review writing competition with a friend of mine and if this review is helpful, which I hope it really is, I would love to have your yes vote!

Great Student Computer/Bookbag!!
1. The Airlift system really works like a charm. The weight is distributed equally so that even when you have a full bag you won’t feel crushed.
2. The material of the bag and the compartments it have makes the bag quite water proof (tested with the Northwest weather… need I say more?)
3. The compartment for the CD/iPod/Cell phone/Key Holder is perfectly located and easy to reach; there is also a jack for the headphone wire.
4. There is a computer compartment with some moderate amount of soft padding.
5. The capacity this backpack holds is good for school, but not much for traveling.

This backpack is good for students who carry books as well as computers and who might need to walk a lot.

Highly recommended!!!

Awesome Bag
When my bag came in, I wasn’t expecting it to be able to fit everything I needed for school. To my surprise, I was able to put in my laptop & accessories, 4 books, 3 binders, water bottle,, lunch, mp3 player and I still had extra room. This bag is very sturdy. I’m really surprised the strap hasn’t snapped yet. All around great bag.

Excellent Bag
I have been using this bag since 3 weeks. This is a great product and good for office. I carry my laptop, lunch, books and office documents along with my MP3 player. The headphone socket for the player should have been provided to allow on the go music to go as well.

JanSport Sputnik Backpack
I bought this in September for my daughter for college at the University of MN. We ordered it a week or so before she headed out and she really wanted to have it before she left. She was very happy and I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up only 5 days after we ordered it. So far, she is very satisfied with it. She needs a very heavy duty backpack to withstand the harsh winters and I hope it will fit that purpose as well.
