Great Pack
Nice bag, lots of room, the laptop sleeve is handy. I’ve had the bag for about a month now and I use it everyday to commute back and forth to work on my bike.

Excellent Laptop Backpack for Bike ride
Pros: I bought this bag after researching through many different ones. I was looking for something that was cheap, yet stylish and functional, and it fits all of those and have been using it for almost 3 months now. I ride my bike to work everyday and sometimes have to carry my Laptop. The laptop sleeve, the padding and the front straps make it extremely easy on my shoulders and there is still a lot of space left for my gym clothes etc. I have taken this bag on hikes and snowboarding. The material is water resistant enough to keep my stuff dry.

Cons: Comparing to my previous backpack, the number of pockets are not as many. The small strap on the top is not padded, so its not comfortable to carry in one hand. The shoulder straps are solid foam design and not the mesh type, which even though comfortable does not allow for a lot of ventilation.

Haven’t yet used the feature to attach a Hydration pack.

better to do a real check
I have another JanSport firewire backpack which I have used for about 4 years. Recently I upgraded my laptop to a 15.4″ MacBook Pro. my old backpack is too shallow for 15.4″ laptop so I wanted a new one. Based on my experience with my current JanSport backpack, I decided to buy a second Jansport backpack for my MBP. After reading customer’s reviews and view product’s pictures on Amazon, I placed an order. When I received the backpack, I found that it’s not that big /spacious as I expected. it’s about 2100 cu ft. I had to admit I don’t have a good handle of volumes in numbers. though It can hold to a 15.4″ laptop nicely. but honestly its laptop sleeve is not strong as my old firewire backpack. if I want to carry two more books, it will be pretty much full with this size. though everything else looks fine with this JanSport backpack. But I may need to look for a bigger one with ~3000 cu ft and a well-padded laptop sleeve which can provide good protection.

Great Quality and LIFETIME Warrenty!!

I decided to review some things I didn’t buy off Amazon, but I have owned for sometime that are really great items: the kind I would buy again for sure if they were lost. I would say lost or broken, but Jansport has lifetime warranties! If anything happens to your backpack, all you have to do is mail it to Jansport with a note of the problem, they will fix it for FREE and send it back to you. They will even send you a card while they have it telling you it misses you and will be back soon. Overall, these are such great products, you just have to get a Jansport if you’re thinking of a backpack.

Also, I am in a review writing competition with a friend of mine and if this review is helpful, which I hope it really is, I would love to have your yes vote!

This is the best little bag e v e r ! ! ! !
I purchased the scarlett version of this bag more than two years ago, and it’s still in perfect condition! The color doesn’t fade when you wash it, and it’s the most durable bag I’ve ever owned. I will not, refuse to, absolutely cannot make me carry a purse, but I carry this bag everyday. The very front zipper pocket is great for change, the small zipper holds my keys and cell and a host of other small items I always seemed to be losing before, and the large pocket is big enough to fit several medium sized paperbacks in. It’s perfect for everyday use, and will last forever. The “backpack straps” are comfortable and have never broken. I was so excited when I found this on Amazon, and IN EVERY COLOR! Before, the selection was red and black only, so this is fabulous! Buy this bag, you will love it!

great little purse
I use my half-pint as a purse during the day when I’m at school or out with my son. It has a key holder in the front pocket and just enough room for my wallet, mt daily planner, a water bottle and whatever else I need to carry with me. Plus, you can throw it in the washing machine and dryer when it gets dirty.
I get tons of compliments on this little bag.
